Greetings to our 2025 Supporters.
The Board of Directors of the Nece Hopson Memorial foundation would like to take this opportunity to express our thanks and appreciation to you for your support during 2025. We were instrumental in making an impact on the lives of over 900 individuals or families because of your financial donation, volunteer efforts and prayers.
A summarized report is listed below of the Foundation’s 2025 accomplishments:
- Awarded $6000 in scholarships to 6 area high school students
- Distributed school supplies, personal hygiene bags and lunch to 284 students
- In partnership with a local barber, sponsored haircuts for 20 male students
- Distributed Spring Break lunches to 80 children
- Distributed 100 bags of cleaning supplies to area Senior Citizens
- Donated 100 new towels to the 2nd grade classes at an elementary school to support student’s identified needs for a beginner’s swimming class
- Conducted an Arts & Crafts Day, with lunch, at a community summer camp for 15 students
- Provided new coats and hats for 35 students from 5 elementary schools.
- Gave away 16 Random Act of Kindness gift cards
- Distributed over 200 bunches of locally grown collard green to families
- Donated 15 toys for children for Christmas
- Donated 50 containers of juice (1/2 gallons) to a local Food Bank
- Launched our First Virtual Fundraiser.
