Who is Nece Hopson?

Henecia L Hopson

Henecia was affectionately known as “Nece” by her family and friends. She was a loving, energetic, and enthusiastic teenager that departed this life in October 1999. Throughout her life, she exemplified a true love for her family, friends, and others in need. She believed in giving, sharing and thinking of others before self.

The unselfish love shown by Nece during her 16 joyful years on earth, is the origin of the foundation. The foundation was established with a goal to demonstrate the same type of love in Nece’s memory. The goal will be accomplished through implementation of programs and activities dedicated to benefit the Houston County community.

Nece is no longer with us in body, but her beautiful memories will always remain in our hearts. She will always be remembered as a loving, joyful teenager with a bright beautiful smile. During her life, she touched the lives of so many. Therefore, through her memory, the foundation’s mission is to “Make a Difference in the Life of Others,” by touching their lives, and thus creating a smile in their life.
